MSc in Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistance
The program is launched, from Academic Year 1998-99, by the Department of Structural Engineering, with the synergy of the Department of Geotechnical Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA.
Within the program participate, also, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the School of Mining Engineering and Metallurgy and the School of Applied Mathematics and Physics.
Aim of the program
- The qualification of graduate Civil Engineers from NTUA or other relevant Academic Institutions, to modern methods and techniques, through a multidisciplinary approach, collaboration and research in the field of analysis and design of structures, to cover the increased requirements of the Public and Private Sector, Organizations and Companies of the broad Public Sector of the country, as well as other countries of the European Union (EU) or elsewhere, in the scientific areas of the Inter-department Program of Post-graduate Studies (IPPS).
- To build a deep background to scientists, in order to attain the skill to provide for research centres and academic institutions, in Greece and abroad.
