Lecture by Dr. K. Georgakakos on flash flood prediction
Dr. K. Georgakakos, Director of the Hydrologic Research Center (California, USA) will give a lecture at the School of Civil Engineering entitled "Predicting Flash Floods: What Tools Do We Have? - Overview of the Flash Flood Guidance System (FFGS)".
The lecture will take place on Thursday, October 31 at 12:00 in the ceremonial hall of the School of Civil Engineering (near the entrance of the NTUA campus from Zographou).
