Internship

The Internship aims to strengthen, expand and upgrade the quality of the education of the students of the School of Civil Engineering of the NTUA. It takes place in public and private organizations and companies, dealing with activities that are within the profession of Civil Engineering. In this way, the Internship contributes to a more substantial connection of studies with the market, an element of particular importance for developing future Civil Engineers.

Specifically, the internship helps:

To consolidate the students’ theoretical knowledge through the application in practice.
Familiarizing the students with the reality of work and the working environment.
Recognizing and promoting of the students’ skills
Promoting a spirit of creative collaboration and teamwork with other disciplines that coexist in the workplace.
To expand the fields of employment.
To create a stable and two-way cooperation between the University and the market.
In shaping professional ethics in students and the professionals of the future
Enriching the subjects of dissertations.

The Internship is a 9^th semester course, that is implemented in the 10th semester during the months from May to October. The duration of the Internship is 2 months.
